Not often do we get to cap over hardwood stairs. 3/4" plywood added upstairs , so capping the stairs with hardwood didn’t mess with riser heights! We manufactured the nosings for the stairs . Capped risers and stringers with 1/4 maple painted white. We laid about 2000’ in the house also.

More pictures to come! We did about 700’ of chevron with about 3500’ of straight lay. With #wakol pu280 and ms 260 adhesive

We fabricated our own nosings with #miragefloors white oak. Installed 700’ of glue down over radiant heat. Capped a beam, capped a ledge. Fun little job.

Another recap we did in 2025! With 900’ of #mirage hardwood. Some sweet custom nosings in front of the house with a jack miter to connect the two areas together.

Another vinyl stair case with #coretecflooring
These vinyl treads will fool your eyes. Hard to tell it’s vinyl and not hardwood!

Fun little vinyl job with #coretecflooring . We removed the treads, plained them down, re glued them to the stringers. We made a skirt with a vinyl plank. And we crafted our own corner caps! And as usual, lots of prep to get the floor flat before install!

Black rail. Black balusters . Clean, simple and modern.

The most important part of a glue down installation. Floor flatness . To achieve 1/8-3/16 on 10’ , grind your high spots , and pore away. All these pictures we pored with #uzin nc 150 .

Fun facts about Cork:
Cork is the bark of the cork oak tree, found in Mediterranean country’s.

The bark is harvested after 25 years of age is reached , then as early as 9 years after first harvest.

Cork is mildew resistant, water resistant, and pest resistant due to a natural occurring substance called Suberin.

The corks’s cellular structure offers elastic properties which make it suitable for heavy traffic . It is an excellent sounds insulator, and helps regulate its environment from cold winter to warm summers .
